Peter E. Gillquist is a professor of psychology at the University of North Texas. He received his Ph.D. in Classical and Comparative Psychology from Stanford University, and completed postdoctoral work at the University of Michigan before coming to the University of North Texas
He is an internationally known researcher in motivation, personality, and interpersonal relations. His work on personality has focused on the dimensions of Extraversion/Introversion (E/I), Agreeableness/Disagreeableness (A/D), Conscientiousness (C), Neuroticism (N) and Openness to Experience (O). He is also interested in personality differences between men and women.
